  • I'm based in Scottsdale, AZ, and I work with clients located anywhere within Arizona and California through online therapy.

  • We’ll meet over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Before each session, I’ll send you a private link—you can join from your laptop, tablet, or phone. Many people find that online therapy feels just as personal and connected as meeting in person (plus, you get to be in the comfort of your own space).

  • Yes, my office is located at 9160 E. Bahia Dr. Suite 107, Scottsdale AZ 85260.

  • My fee is $195 for a 50-minute session. I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly, but I can give you a superbill if you want to request reimbursement through your insurance.

  • A Good Faith Estimate outlines the expected costs of your therapy so there are no surprises. It’s part of your rights under the No Surprises Act. I’ll provide you with a clear estimate before we get started.

  • Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping for. I’ll also explain more about how I work, and together we’ll see if it feels like a good fit.

  • That really depends on your goals and what you’re hoping to explore. Some people come for a few months to work on specific issues, while others stay longer for deeper self-growth. We’ll check in regularly to make sure the therapy is supporting you in the ways you need.

  • You can reach out through my contact form or email me directly at contact@annaliupsychotherapy.com

We’ll set up a free 20-minute consultation call to get started.

  • Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice (or missed sessions) are charged the full session fee.

  • Absolutely. What you share with me stays private, with a few exceptions required by law (like if someone is in immediate danger). I'll go over all the details about confidentiality before we begin, so you know exactly what to expect.

  • I would be a travel show host—someone like Anthony Bourdain who travels to many different countries, tastes a wide variety of food, and connects with people from various cultures and backgrounds. I would love to hear their stories, weeping and laughing with them!

  • I’ve traveled to over 20 countries, so there are a lot of memories there. But I think I would pick the Okavango Delta in Botswana. It’s a land filled with beauty, wonder, and a magical energy that somehow absorbs you (it’s hard to describe).

If you’re curious to learn more, I strongly recommend the documentary Into the Okavango.

  • Spanish!
